I am involved in organising the 'Bridging the Gap' cross-cultural seminar that was held in Darwin last week and hosted by Why Warriors and Richard Trudgen.

I would just like to say a huge thank-you for posting the seminar flyer in your shop window in the leadup to the event. (I noticed it as I was walking through the mall on the day of the seminar.)

We really appreciate your support, as we are always looking for ways to get the message out and teach people more about Indigenous culture and how to work more effectively so that everyone benefits.

Dear Kriss, Kathleen's owl painting arrived today. Wow. Wow. Wow. Spectacular. The packing crate set the benchmark as to how all precious items should br transported. Needless to say, it arrived in perfect condition. I loved the story written into the Certificate of Authenticity, Kathleen's story and gorgeous photo of her holding her artwork. She is SO beautiful. I intend to frame all of them.

Hi Sinéad,

The painting arrived safely today (Friday, mid-morning) but it's good that you sandwiched it between those two tough cardboard-like sheets. A corner of the bubble-wrap was worn through and into one sheet, but the painting is not damaged.

We're very pleased with the delicate design and lovely desert colours. Thank you for including some of Margaret Davis's history and thoughts - that makes the painting even more special. Now, to find the right spot to display it!

We received the certificate you posted.  Thank you very much. I like the meaning attached to the painting.

We chose the right painting. The wall is larger than I remembered at the gallery so this larger painting will fit better plus provide good colour and energy to our living space. We plan to frame the painting in the next week or so and will email you a photo when done.

Thanks for the info. We are back to Sydney and it is so cold here. Envy you so much! We have been admiring the painting since we got home even though it is just on the floor rather than on the wall.
