Pandora Long Pwerl

Pandora began painting for Mbantua Gallery in 2007. The main story that she paints is Bush Medicine which was passed down to her by her father, Henry Long Kemarre, and relates to bush medicine plants found throughout Antarrengeny country in northern Utopia. The soft leaf like strokes of her painting style have been heavily influenced by her mother, Jeannie Long Petyarre, and half sister, Marcie Turner Pwerl.
Pandora is a niece to the highly acclaimed artist, Greeny Purvis Petyarre, and is a great niece of the late Emily Kame Kngwarreye.
